Hollywood star Tom Cruise is not one to be frightened by difficulties.

So, almost all the tricks in the continuation of the picture "Mission Impossible: Folaut" - the sixth in a row, the actor decided to do himself.

The film studio Paramount Pictures shared a web video in which the 55-year-old Cruz performs a parachute jump from a height of 7600 meters. This jump is attributed to military maneuvers. It is dangerous because the parachute opens as close to the ground as possible, at an altitude of less than 600 m.

Such jumps are performed from the troposphere - from a height of up to 10 km, so that the one who jumps does it necessarily in warm clothes and with an individual breathing apparatus, DailyMail writes..

As the film's director Christopher McQuarrie said, he discussed this trick with Cruz for several years. In order for the actor to do it himself, the studio built a huge wind tunnel. Note that Tom Cruise was the first actor who performed a dangerous trick on the camera.

There, the star exercised control of his body, since any displacement of the center of gravity during a fall at a speed of about 190 km / h can lead to uncontrolled rotation and fatal outcome.

Also for Tom Cruise, a special helmet was designed, which during the jump was supposed to protect the actor from such deadly dangers as oxygen deficiency, hyperventilation and the so-called barometric impact caused by low atmospheric pressure at high altitudes.

Filming, which, incidentally, was held in the UAE, also complicated by the fact that the operators had only three minutes - before sunset to remove the necessary scene.

Note that the world premiere of the tape "Mission Impossible: Folaut" is scheduled for July 26, 2018.

Recall that earlier during the filming of "Mission Impossible-6" Tom Cruise was painfully traumatized. During the execution of the trick, the actor did not calculate the strength.
