On the eve of the holiday in an exclusive interview to the TV site. UA artist described his speech, beloved grandmother Valentine and his personal war for dreams.

Vitaly, this year you will sing for the veterans and spectators of the concert "Song of War Correspondents". How difficult is it for you to play military songs?.

Front songs carry an amazing energy and history. They have an incredible strength of will and spirit. People knew how to enjoy life, knowing that tomorrow they might not come. "Song of military correspondents", at first glance, danceable and fervent.

But if you listen attentively to the words in which my hero addresses a friend: if they kill us there tomorrow, someone will still remember, remember, respect, - I want to cry. It was possible to get scared, get up, put down your hands. But these people went ahead and gave their lives for their homeland, for their loved ones. Therefore, I always take pleasure in participating in the projects of the "Inter" channel and especially in concerts to the Victory Day.

As far as we know, there will be a lot of dances in the room. Admit, a lot of time spent at rehearsals?.

Do not believe it, the production was done in just a couple of hours! For this I love to work with the director-director Lena Kolyadenko! She clearly catches character. This is not just a choreography - it's a performance.

In what way will you appear before the audience? How comfortable is it for you?.

At the Victory Day concert I'm always in uniform. This is already a tradition. Once more I tried on my overcoat during the filming of the video "Be stronger". But there it was not a question of war in the concept in which we are talking about it on May 9. Rather, it is a war for your dreams, a better life, a sense of personal freedom. The fact that in life you can bend, but sag - never. About the fact that we all go through our little war.

On May 9, veterans and their exploits are honored. And who do you remember on this day? What did your family tell you about that terrible period of history?.

I grew up on the stories of my grandmother Valentina, who was a child of war. She knows firsthand what it means to hide from the Germans and survive the famine. She told me that at that terrible time the summer was a period of bliss - you could walk around with a corn field and eat it with cabbages. And if shooting was opened, the field served as a shelter for them. Grandmother said that at some point the fear disappeared - such a life became their habitual existence. And hunger ...

When my great-grandmother divided into a huge family quarters of a loaf of bread. For the great-grandfather as the breadwinner of the family, she always hid a bigger piece. But one day my grandmother saw where her mother hid the bread - climbed there and ate her father's share. In another family for such a belt could have been shoveled. In general, there was a terrible time. And how happy they were when they announced the end of the war.
