The opera diva Montserrat Caballe celebrated her 85th birthday in Kiev, the subject of "TSN".

The singer was welcomed in one of the five-star hotels in the capital. She flew along with the whole family - daughter Mons and 6-year-old granddaughter Daniela. Before the journalists she was constantly next to the star grandmother and held her hand.

For the past ten years, Montserrat Caballe has moved with crutches or a wheelchair. After a car crash in 2002, she has problems with her legs.

The opera diva was congratulated with the traditional Ukrainian caravan and white roses. A warm welcome touched the singer to tears.

With the press, the owner of a unique soprano did not speak for long, because she was already waiting for numerous star guests at a private party in honor of the anniversary.

Among the invitees were Ekaterina Osadchaya, Nina Matvienko, who for a long time dreamed to get acquainted with the opera diva. But Zlata Ognevic surprised the foreign guest with her vocal. Represented Montserrat Caballe, mostly flowers. Journalists TSN gave the opera diva watercolors and brushes, because she is also an artist.
