Ukrainian prima ballerina and jury member of the project "Tantsi z zirkami" on the channel "1 + 1" Ekaterina Kukhar accepts congratulations from her colleagues.

By presidential decree, she was awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine. Thanks to Catherine the ballet art in Ukraine has more fans.

The title "People's Artist" is awarded for outstanding mastery, special merits in the development of the national cultural heritage.

"It was a pleasant surprise for me. I hope that I can leave my good work on the ground with my creativity and deed. For me, as an artist, the greatest reward is when people come to the play, so they are interested. Today I often write in social networks, that I became a motivator for them to go for the first time to the ballet, that they were happy to discover this art.

I hope that this trend will continue. Children will be interested in art, someone will become a devoted spectator of the theater, someone will become a famous artist. I understand, what I'm doing is a drop in the ocean. And yet, I'm glad that I'm involved in the development of art in Ukraine, "- commented Kuhar.
