Director Quentin Tarantino commented on the ill-fated accident, which hit Uma Thurman during the filming of his film "Kill Bill".

According to Tarantino, he very much regrets that Uma performed this trick. At the same time, the director stressed that none of the crew did not consider driving a car in the film a stunt. Quentin added that he did not force Thurman to drive, as the actress had previously claimed.

"None of us thought this was a stunt. It was just driving a car. I did not break into the trailer and did not shout at Uma, did not force her to sit behind the wheel. I told her it would be safe. But I was wrong. She sat behind the wheel, because she trusted me, "- commented Tarantino.
