Bidding started with 20 thousand dollars, but in the process the amount grew rapidly. Pitt first offered 80 thousand dollars, but then he broke his own bet, increasing it to 90 thousand. However, this was not enough. One of the guests of the auction, whose name is not called, won the auction on the amount of 160 thousand dollars, writes Variety.

The charity event was organized by actor Sean Penn, and all funds raised through the auction will be transferred to organizations that deal with the aftermath of natural disasters in Haiti.
