Ukrainian singer Ruslana Lyzhichko calls the trip to occupied Donetsk the most dangerous in her life. The star described this in an interview on the channel "112 Ukraine".

The singer said that they had to go to the curfew and then even the leader of the Donetsk militants could not give a security guarantee to the star.

"It was our most dangerous trip, and we did not even know if we would leave from there alive. Once we got under fire at the curfew. When we left, there were no guarantees. What guarantees could we have for crossing our checkpoint? None! Yes, we were told: "Well, perhaps, nothing will happen to you". And when I first arrived, Zakharchenko told me: "If someone gives you a machine-gun burst, you should be ready for anything". And they did, and they killed me in front of his guard.

All this happened when I was sitting behind him. I do not know where the bullet flew, but I was just lucky, "said Lyzhichko.

In general, says Ruslana, together with the "Officers Corps" she managed to contribute to the release of 42 Ukrainian servicemen.

Recall that in 2014 Ruslana went to Donetsk, where she took part in negotiations with the leader of the militants, Alexander Zakharchenko. The hostages managed to be released without any conditions.
