Ukrainian singer Christina Soloviy, who told about her images in the videos, pleased the fans with a video novelty.
The performer released a clip on the author's lyrical composition "Fortepiano", which became the second single from her future album.
Christina assures us that this is a completely new sound of her work. Over the past two years, the singer, together with producer Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and sound producer Milos Elic, searched for the right sound for this song.
The director of the clip was Anna Buryachkova. It was she who proposed the idea, in which the singer did not hesitate for a second.
Work on video shootings lasted two weeks - that's how much time passed from the idea's approval to the presentation of the video.
Cinematic approach to visualization help to plunge into the mood of the song, to feel the singer's worldview. The aesthetic of the frame is inspired by the films of Wong Karwa. Among the images in the video, you can guess Lolita Vladimir Nabokov, about which Christina wrote a thesis on the specialty of "literary creativity". Also in the video is a grotesque realism of the cult series of David Lynch "Twin Peaks". All these elements show the magic of emotions and reveal the actress on the other side.
"I was looking for the idea for a clip no less than the necessary sound for a song. Refused several beautiful ideas of eminent Ukrainian filmmakers. I felt that the clip should reinforce emotional senses, and the song should be a soundtrack to the story. When Anya presented me the idea, I was filled with hope, felt a wave of inspiration and a desire to create.
Still none of the directors so sensually did not approach my song, history and images. Anya immediately stipulates that "Fortepiano" is about another Christina, which the listener does not yet know. She offered a story that is fully personal for me, autobiographical, no less dramatic than in the video. Sure, we got art, "- commented on the video Soloviy.
Recall that in October, the ward of Vakarchuk Solovy made a heartfelt cover for the hit of Sting. Kristina Soloviay sang the song Stolen Car.
