On Saturday, the audience saw the third edition of the program Time to Build. It dealt with the Gurov family from the city of Vyshneve, Kiev region. Six years ago, the head of this family died tragically - Oleg. Since then, his wife Alena and four children were in a critical situation.
Debts on currency mortgages for the house in which they lived grew. From day to day the property of Gurovs had to leave the bank. Participation in the Time to Build project gave this family a new home with no debts and confidence: difficult times were left behind.
In the construction of this dream house took part famous singer Ani Lorak. Gurov's story touched her very much, because she reminded her of her own childhood.
Tell us how you felt at the construction site?.
Excellent! I've never been involved in construction, but I'm not afraid to work since childhood.
In addition to participating in the construction site, you helped to prepare a surprise for your eldest daughter Alena, Tanya.
Tanya is cute to me, like a girl with a strong character who, having sustained a blow, did not break down, but works, achieves, carries light and radiates love no matter what.
I also lost a loved one. My brother died in Afghanistan when I was nine years old. And it was very difficult to survive, because my brother and I had a strong connection, as strong as probably Tanya and my father. I was born in an incomplete family, and my brother, Sergei, took great care of me and in some way replaced me with his father. I adore my dad, but at some moments it was Seryozha that was that important and necessary, reliable shoulder.
I, like Tanya, know what it means to earn money at a young age. It so happened that at the age of 17 I became the wether of our family, because I once promised myself that I would live two lives - for my brother and myself. Of course, this is difficult. But responsibility, will power, discipline are included. You can not afford any weaknesses. Or - having told, not to keep a word, to agree about a meeting and not to come you too can not.
But it seems to me, having passed this stage in my youth, already in adult life it is easier. The worst thing, I think, is lack of will. When you do not know what you want. You do not dream about anything, you are not striving for anything.
And why such a surprise - a new wardrobe?.
I understand the reaction of society to a girl who wears second-dress clothes. She would like to wear a beautiful dress, shoes, but she does not have such a financial opportunity. Before the seventh grade I studied at a boarding school and did not know what it was like to have my dress in general, even from second-hand. I was given a dress that someone wore before me. Clean, but darned. And I wore. Of course, I wanted my own, new and not one, like any girl. In this situation, you can get angry, but you can - do something to earn a dress.
And for her it's a test, a test. Do you want shoes? You take and labor, you earn on them, there is no other way.
As I like to talk at concerts - they beat a thousand times in the legs - you get up a thousand times and go on. She went further. I think that Tanya will be fine. Pain turns into experience, experience turns into character. Character is destiny. She will have a happy fate. I'm sure.
Of course, what happens in this project is a miracle. But they deserved this miracle. Miracles happen to those who believe in them.
