The winner of "Eurovision-2017", Portuguese singer Salvador Sobral is recovering after cardiac transplantation.
Doctors of the hospital Santa Cruz said that the 27-year-old artist had an operation on transplantation on Friday, December 8, after lunch. He was in a state of intensive care, as specialists monitor the work of a new heart, writes The Telegrapf.
Collected spent the last three months in hospital waiting for a new heart. "Let's hope that he will recover to live a normal life," said Dr. Miguel Abecas.
The operation lasted four hours. Now the heart works well, but the recovery will be protracted.
