Ukrainian producer and composer Alexander Yagolnik has sharply responded about the unexpected performance of Ani Lorak in Kiev at the anniversary concert of the ballet Freedom.

In a comment to journalist TSN Yagolnik said that the appearance of Lorak on the stage of the palace "Ukraine" - is "humiliation of Ukrainian art".

"There is another humiliation of Ukrainian art, I mean Raikin's concerts that take place, and the speeches of Lorak. For me, these are interrelated things. These are elements of Russia's hybrid war against us. I believe that her every speech in Kiev is a humiliation of the Ukrainian patriotic spirit and a softening of our moral and strong-willed spirit of the nation in order to win, "the producer said..

Jagolnik noted that, in general, Lorak's speeches in Ukraine are an "insult" and "unacceptable" in our country. In addition, according to the producer, the ballet Freedom disgraced himself, inviting Lorak to speak at their concert.

"I'm very disappointed that Freedom, a ballet with a glorious Ukrainian history in show business, so shamed himself that instead of saying how cool they are, we are forced now with disgust to feel what humiliation they have done for the whole Ukrainian show -biz, inviting Lorak, "- summed up Jagolnik.

Recall that on November 14, 2017 Ani Lorak's performance in Kiev at the Freedom ballet concert was a real surprise. This was the first appearance of the performer on the stage after three years of calm in Ukraine. Lorak did not say in the posters of the concert, but the organizers noted that another pleasant surprise awaits the guests of the evening. A special guest will appear on the stage - "an artist who has millions of fans in Ukraine".
