November 9 was not Mikhail Zadornov. He died of brain cancer at the age of 70.

Mikhail Zadornov was born in Jurmala in 1948, appeared on TV for the first time in 1982. And in 1984 he began to appear constantly in the programs "Smehopanorama" and "Anshlag". And then the satirist himself collected full halls and millions of viewers at his concerts, it seemed, so it will always be. He was liked by spectators for sharp humor, for ability to joke cleverly, to notice interesting, not to fall to platitudes that quite often meets at humorists. He was not only amusing, he made me think.

In October 2016, it became known that Zadornov had a tumor in his brain. The satirist struggled with the ailment, was treated by Russian and German doctors. However, the operation and chemotherapy courses did not give positive results. In the summer of 2017, realizing that the treatment does not help, I decided to spend the rest of my life with my family. In November, the writer adopted Orthodoxy and soborovalsya. November 9, the disease won, Mikhail Zadornov died. His departure compromised the health of his closest people, the elder sister and the wife of a satirist were hospitalized for several days.

Realizing that he was leaving, Zadornov left the last letter, where he thanked viewers and subscribers for their support, communication, which gave him strength and positive energy.

Three last wishes of Zadornov are known: to help and prevent the closing of the Russian-language library named after Nikolai Zadornov in Riga, to bury the satirist next to his father, to transport the body after death by ground transportation.

Farewell to the writer in Moscow was planned to be held in the ritual hall of the morgue of the clinical hospital "MEDSI" in closed mode. However, hundreds of fans came to say goodbye to your favorite satirist, the farewell lasted several hours.

Condolences to the family of the satirist were expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, members of the Federation Council, State Duma deputies and regional authorities.
