Today, November 9, The Hardkiss group delighted fans with a double novelty.
The collective released a Ukrainian-language song "Korablі" and a clip on it. The outline of the composition was written by the frontman of The Hardkiss by Julia Sanina at the age of 15 and stayed until her acquaintance with her husband, the creative producer of the band Valom Bebko.
Together they finished the song, however, without the text, and called it "Doberman" - in honor of the film of the same name.
Seven years later the musicians returned to this work and wrote a Ukrainian-language text.
"I do not know where I came from in my head with ships, but I remember that for a long time I did not give a rest to the idea that Venice could go under the water. So, probably, and there was a drowning city and the burnt ships - a symbol of lost hope, "- says Julia Sanina.
According to the singer, the burned flag in the video is an image of a broken heart, pain from the betrayal of a loved one.
"To free yourself from suffering, you need to burn the flag. Offended and disappointed people come together, because it is easier to survive the pain. Everyone has his own story, but the flag's symbol is one - a flaming ship, "added Julia.
The guitarist and creative producer of The Hardkiss Val Bebko made the director of the clip "Korabli". The video was shot in Chernomorsk at the shipyard.
"From Kiev to Chernomorsk, we traveled with the understanding that at the local shipyard we will not be allowed to go to the ships.
But when we got acquainted with the Director of the ISRP Mikhail Dudnikov, and the security chief gave us helmets, we realized that we were waiting for an exciting adventure. Almost for all our crazy creative ideas the plant management answered "yes".
