Hollywood actress Rose McGowan, who was one of the first to talk about sexual harassment from Harvey Weinstein, remembered how he offered her money in exchange for silence.
According to the star of the series "Charmed," a few days before the scandalous publication in The New York Times, which exposed the activities of the movie tycoon, she contacted representatives of Weinstein.
Rose offered a million dollars, so she did not tell me that she was raped by a producer. McGowan confessed that she had first decided to consider Weinstein's proposal. However, instead of a million, the actress raised the amount to six million dollars.
"I have people I need to pay, I need to finance my art. I decided that the money would be helpful.. And then I thought: "Uh, it was disgusting.. I do not need your money, you rascal, you made me feel disgusting, "McGowan said frankly, DailyMail writes.
Recall that Rose McGowan became the victim of Harvey Weinstein in 1997.
The producer was an actress at the Sudance Film Festival.
The actress noted that in 1997, Weinstein signed an agreement with her on the non-disclosure of the incident. Then from the producer Rose received 100 thousand dollars. However, McGowan noticed that only this summer she learned that the agreement never had a provision on confidentiality.
Recall last week, actress Natasha Malta told us how Weinstein raped her and forced her to have sex with the three of us.
