But I am very grateful to the Ukrainian investigation, because I see that they are doing their work very selflessly and courageously, "Maksakova stressed..

In addition, the widow of the politician receives information about the progress of the case from the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

Recall, on March 23, 2017 at about 11:30 at the intersection of the boulevard Taras Shevchenko and Pushkinskaya Street in Kiev, there was shooting. As a result, former State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov was killed. Also, the attacker wounded the policeman's ex-politician, but he managed to shoot back and wounded the murderer - the 28-year-old native of Sevastopol who lived in the Dnieper, Pavel Parshov. He died in hospital from wounds inflicted by guard Voronenkov.

Parshov was wanted since 2011 for financial fraud committed by a group of individuals. People's Deputy Anton Gerashchenko noted that the murderer Voronenkov in early 2015 crossed the Ukrainian border with Belarus, and from there went to Russia, where he studied at the school of saboteurs.

After preparation, he was thrown into Ukraine, where he joined the National Guard.

Another accomplice of Parshov is called Yaroslav Levenets, who disappeared the day after the murder of Voronenkov. In his house, searches were carried out, and relatives were interrogated.
