The popular musician Oleg Vinnik told about judging and difficulties that he faced during the first castings.

When the proposal to become a judge of the "X-Factor" was received, did they think long over it?.

To tell the truth, I did not take a decision right away, I never say spontaneously "yes". Therefore, it took me a while to agree to such a role. First, this is a new industry for me, although, of course, it is related to my profession, with my experience. And secondly, in reality everything is much more complicated and more responsible than what it looks on TV screens.

Do you find it difficult to evaluate others?.

I try to objectively and in fact evaluate the artists. And it's not so easy, because you do not know who will come on the scene next - will it be better, or not. Much time is spent thinking about rationally selecting one or another performer. This, perhaps, is the heaviest in judging. Every time a new participant enters the stage, I expect some kind of splash that will make me jump from the rush of emotions and impressions.

How emotional are you in general, so that you can jump and applaud standing or dance, for example?.

I myself am waiting for the moment when emotions overwhelm me and stir me up. And no matter what emotion it is - tears, laughter or even disgust. I think that sooner or later this will happen to me, but I give more professional adequate refereeing.

How should an artist be to hear "yes" from you?.

First of all, he must know what he wants from the project. With a man who comes to prove something to himself, I will not be interested. After all, in order to prove something to yourself, do not force people to be implicated in your ambitions. It's my opinion.

What artists are not enough for Ukrainian show business?.

Those who are completely given to people who go on stage to the audience, and not because of their "Wishlist". As some artists say: "I sing for myself". But if all the artists sing for themselves, who will sing for listeners? Entering the stage, we must bear responsibility and cherish the fact that a person listens to us, gives us his time. That is how it should be. And for yourself, singing in front of people is not necessary.
