Ukrainian director Kira Muratova next year will determine who will receive the "Oscar-2018". However, Kira Georgievna still does not know the details of the procedure, she told TSN correspondent.

"I just got a call from the Union of Cinematographers of Kiev. Well, it's just like "Nika": it has existed since 1927.

There are already hundreds, thousands of members. It's just people who vote for an "Oscar". I know this. As I will watch movies, I do not know this technique, "the outstanding director.

By the way, the commission is awarded with the "Oscar", which this year will consist of more than 744 filmmakers representing 57 countries of the world. And now Kira Muratova will become one of the members of the jury.

About her Ukrainian colleagues, who can be part of the most prestigious film academy, Kira Georgievna does not know.

By the way, it is known that the Odessa department of the National Association of Cinematographers of Ukraine applied for the awarding of this title to Muratova.

Recall, Kira Muratova in 1961-m year became a director at the Odessa film studio. During her career, she shot 16 feature films. She played Vladimir Vysotsky, Bogdan Stupka, Renata Litvinova, Nina Ruslanova, Oleg Tabakov, Zinaida Sharko, George Deliev and other famous artists.
