In an interview with Ok Magazine, Monatik told how his career as a singer began. According to Dmitry, from his native Lutsk to Kiev he moved thanks to Natalia Mogilevskaya.

"In Kiev, I moved not just so, but, one might say, by invitation. Even at the casting of "Factories of Stars 2" I noticed the producer of the show Natalia Mogilevskaya. After a while she called me and invited me to her ballet. I almost fell off the couch in Lutsk. Monatik admitted that this call of Mogilev became for him some impetus to the embodiment of his dream of becoming an artist.
