Ukrposhta on social networks reported the release of a new series of postage stamps dedicated to veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, which undergo rehabilitation after severe wounds. Sketches were created by Ukrainian artist Lucy Ivanova in cooperation with the Tytanov rehabilitation center.

The release took place as part of the project " The initiative allows you to create unique thematic brands with the participation of artists and public organizations. The cultural platform of Port of Culture and The Naked Room Gallery also joined the creation of the Tytanov Heroes series..

The postal sheet includes 9 marks, which depict a real veteran or veteran who has passed prosthetics and are now in the way of recovery. Among them there are also symbolic drawings of prostheses of arms or legs. The author of the sketches, Lucy Ivanov, sought to convey not so much physical pain as the power of the spirit, inner indestructibility and the desire for a full -fledged life.

Artist Lucy Ivanova is a native of the Dnieper, who now lives in Vienna. According to Suprikalna, it has an art education, is a member of the Installation association and a regular participant in international artistic events. Her works often turn to the topics of everyday life, changes in life, experience of war and motherhood. In 2024, she participated in the prestigious fairs of Vienna Contemporary and Liste Art Fair, and also joined the international project of Secondary Archive.

The Tytanovi Heroes project is designed not only to honor the courage of veterans, but also to remind society about the importance of supporting people who return to life after the war - physically, psychologically, emotionally.

The topic of combination of art and the rehabilitation of the military sounded as part of the Healing Arts LVIV project, which took place in Lviv from July 20 to July 27. The initiative was focused on art therapy as an instrument of physical and psychological healing of veterans. Among the participants are artists, military, psychologists and doctors. Veterans performed on stage, painted paintings and shared their own stories through art. One of the examples is the play "
