On Independence Day in Kyiv, a large -scale exhibition of Ivan Marschuk has opened

In the capital, they present the new exhibition " Probuzhennya " The exposition will be opened on August 6 at the Museum of the History of the City of Kyiv. The event is dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine and was implemented in partnership with the Museum-Cultural Center for Contemporary Art of Ivan Marchuk. The exposition presents works from three copyright cycles: “Voice of my soul”, “landscape” and “tsvitіnnya”. These cycles are united by intimate tonality, attention to details and a deep emotional connection with national memory. According to the organizers, each section of the exhibition will have their own artistic concept, which will allow visitors to go through the path of personal spiritual awakening.

The key work will be the " At a time when the artist was torn from his native land, this picture became a symbol of inner light for him. In the modern context, when Ukraine is experiencing the processes of national revival, this image acquires a new meaning.

Nine leading museums of Ukraine joined the formation of the exhibition, among which:

the National Art Museum, the National Museum in Lviv named after Andrei Sheptitsky, the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko, the Mystics Arsenal, the Khmelnitsky Regional Art Museum, the National Center " In addition, 19 private collectors joined the exhibition, thanks to which the audience will be able to see a number of works that were not previously demonstrated publicly.

The organizers were the Museum and Cultural Center of Contemporary Art Ivan Marschuk and the Modern Art Foundyshn charity foundation. Partners of the project were Zoryana Pelech (Pelekh \u0026 Partners) and Andrey Beliuk.
