In Kyiv, in the Ukrainian House, a large -scale exhibition " The project is dedicated to the outstanding Kyiv artists of the second half of the twentieth century - Fedor Tenich, Valery Lamahu, Ada Rybachuk, Vladimir Melnichenko and Florian Yuryev. Their work left a deep mark in the visual culture of the post -war Kyiv, and now for the first time on this scale is represented by the public.

The opening was visited by the photojournalist ZN. UA Vasily Artyushenko.

Central figures of the Kyiv art space.

Each of the five artists whose works are exhibited at the exhibition created a unique philosophical and artistic system. In particular, Valery Lachama worked on a conceptual project called " Ada Rybachuk and Vladimir Melnichenko developed a deeply humanistic philosophy, which concerned the issues of collective memory, injury and meaning of human life.

Florian Yuryev, in turn, combined music, poetry and color in his own author's teaching about the "

Kyiv's face in mosaics and concrete.

Among the most famous objects belonging to the authorship of these artists are the legendary " These works became visual markers of the era, capturing the spirit of time in stone, glass and paint.

However, even after the fall of ideological pressure, many of these objects remained under the threat of destruction - already for pragmatic considerations. In the 1990s, most of the monumental works of Tetanich and part of the works of Lamakh were lost. Today, the “flying saucer” itself is under threat - an object that has become a symbol of the architectural futurism of Kyiv.

Art that speaks through time.

The exhibition " Part of the work was exhibited for the first time: in particular, these are the little -known pages of the “Book of Schemes” Valery Lamaha and a series of reamps “Hiroshima” from Ada Rybachuk and Vladimir Melnichenko.

A special atmosphere of exposition is created by multimedia tools - mapping, animation, sound installations. Thanks to these technologies, visitors can plunge into a space where art literally comes to life, creating a full immersion experience.

Independent art under the sight.

In their creative searches, artists strove for independence from official ideology, looking for new forms of expression - not only aesthetic, but also worldviews. This position often caused close attention from the authorities. Many work became objects of censorship, and sometimes repressions. Their artistic resistance was formed in difficult conditions, which only enhances the value of their heritage today.

Recall that in Kyiv another significant art event continues - in the space of the Macpaw Space, the documentary photo exhibition " The exposition is dedicated to life at the front and in the front-line regions in 2024-2025. The exhibition will last until May 25. The project also hosts a charity auction, which contains photos with signatures of high -ranking officials, in particular the head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk and the head of the GUR Kirill Budanov.
