Oleg went to defend the country from the first days of the 2014 war. And after the start of a full-scale invasion, he defended Mariupol from Russian invaders, and later - Azovstal.

His photos in August 2022 stirred up the network: instead of a strong warrior, the photo showed an emaciated man.

In September 2022, Oleg was released from captivity.
