On Christmas Eve, the world famous artist Gerry Hofstetter illuminated the buildings of the Ukrainian capital. Projections with Ukrainian state symbols, Christmas-themed abstractions, embroidered shirts, sunflowers and other images appeared on St. Andrew's Church, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, the Bell Tower of St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery and the Bell Tower of St..

Hofstetter brought his light show to Ukraine as part of the world art tour " The artist seeks to bring hope and light to Ukrainians in dark days. Together with a small team of four people and his own power generator, the artist will work in Ukraine for two more Christmas evenings - on December 24 and 25 from 16 to 22 hours.

Hofstetter and his team deliberately forgo celebrating Christmas with their families in solidarity with Ukraine.

After all, many Ukrainian families cannot celebrate as usual due to the Russian invasion..

The projections appearing on the buildings in Kyiv are also broadcast live, so they can be seen in any corner of Ukraine and the world. Images of individual projections are created immediately with on-site lighting in the form of NFTs and hosted on the Opensea NFT platform. Proceeds from the sale of works will go to the next action of the artist to support Ukraine.
