People's Artist of the RSFSR Valentin Gaft was buried at the Troyekurovsky cemetery in Moscow, RIA Novosti reports citing a representative of Sovremennik.

The funeral took place after the farewell held at the Sovremennik Theater.

Actor Stanislav Sadalsky called the farewell to Valentin Gaft a " He wrote about this on his Instagram.

Soviet and Russian actor Valentin Gaft was born on September 2, 1935 in Moscow. In 1957 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School, first appeared on stage at the Mossovet Theater. He also worked at the Moscow Drama Theater (now the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya), at the Lenin Komsomol Theater (now " In 1969 he moved to the Sovremennik Theater. Gaft made his film debut in 1956 in Murder on Dante Street.

The artist died on December 12 at the 86th year of life.
