The next graduation of young lieutenants will take place at the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine in two weeks. Despite the state certification, graduates have a lot of opinions about the graduation ceremony and the holiday itself.

The future officer Dmitry Oseyko is studying at the Faculty of Logistics and has long dreamed of writing a song about the officers of the National Guard of Ukraine. Almost a month of work on the text, rehearsals with comrades - first under the piano, then with a guitar and drums. And finally a studio recording.

“There were many options, and I recorded each of them on a recorder to listen with my comrades. He wrote something right away, changed some terms many times. I was worried that in each line there was a meaning that would be close to the officers. To listen to the song, we did not just hear the words, but felt the events that many of the officers had to go through, ”says songwriter cadet Dmitry Oseyko.

Dmitry wrote the words and music on his own, but his military friend Nikolai Zolochevsky became the vocalist who performed the song.

Together they already recorded several songs in the studio before - there they sang about friendship and about their native country. The cadets know these young men well, because concerts at the Academy are rarely held without their participation..

The authors refused to create a professional video almost immediately - there should be real shootings of Ukrainian guards, examples of participation in hostilities and exercises, just the ordinary life of officers. The Academy reacted to the authors' wishes responsibly and helped create just such a video.
