He has long been not only a child. The theater has a huge, full-fledged and varied evening repertoire: "Carmen" F. Bizet, "Iolanta" P. Tchaikovsky, "Love for Three Oranges" C. Prokofiev, "Chanterelle. Love "L.

Janacek, "Exercises and dances Guido" In. Martynov, like "Diaghilev" ballets, restored by the theater together with Andris Liepa choreographic masterpieces of the legendary "Russian Seasons" - all these are performances that are worth coming without children, leaving those houses with grandmothers or nannies. These are performances about love, about passion, about loneliness, joy, happiness and despair, about the fullness of life as it is manifested in the vertex creatures of the world opera and ballet repertoire. And from this autumn the Theater of Natalia Satz launches a new adult cycle - a subscription consisting of old, Baroque operas, that is, real musical rarities.

It includes four repertoire productions of the artistic director of the theater George Isahakian, a man thanks to whom the Natalia Sats Theater can rightly be called today the center of an ancient opera. It was he who invited Andrew Lawrence-King, the world-renowned virtuoso harpist, the founder of the ensemble The Harp Consort, the Grammy, Echo, Gramophone and t. , one of the most authoritative world performers and conductors of ancient music. Together they put "Love kills" - the first Spanish opera that has survived since 1660 (it will be held on September 26 and 27), and "The Game of the Soul and Body" by Emilio de Cavalieri, the first Italian opera of 1600 g. creation, which will be played on the Small Stage of the Theater on October 12 and 13. Also in the subscription is a performance based on the opera by Georg Friedrich Handel "Altsina", which George Isahakyan staged with conductor Alevtina Ioffe. All parties in it are performed by women (September 28 and November 3). The fourth production from this cycle will be the premiere of Claudio Monteverdi's opera "Orpheus". The performance will be the only production in Moscow of this masterpiece of ancient, additional music, and will take place in an unusual space - the Rotunda, the very path to which will turn for spectators in an exciting journey, because the artist of the play was Ksenia Peretrukhina. Musical Director of "Orpheus" - Valery Platonov, director - George Isahakyan. The premiere is scheduled for October 25 and 26. "Surprisingly, the first samples of the opera as a genre were its greatest peaks, which both 400 years ago and today are admired," said George Isahakian. - Why Baroque and Renaissance are the last great styles?.

Because both the Renaissance and the Baroque feel a certain vertical of the world.

The Renaissance perceives it as a harmonious vertical, Baroque feels it as a few worlds that have split and cracked, but still these worlds still exist in the presence of heaven. Now, however much we are pseudo-religious, we understand that the heavens are closed to us. And, by and large, everything is so useless in our life, that only in this music one can find at least some justification of one's being. We are torn creatures on the planet, and music, Renaissance and Baroque music, is what can make this rupture ".
