Pyramid in the archaeological park of Kocaschi in Ecuador turned into a giant elegant flower bed. The inhabitants of Pedro Moncayo decorated it with half a million roses. So they hope to set a world record.

Roses that adorn the pyramid, grew in 150 local flower gardens on the slopes of the Andes. All buds were placed manually. Volunteers worked around the clock for several days. The design is equipped with a system of drip irrigation, which prevents flowers from fading. The area of ??this pink carpet is 1100 square meters.

Representatives of the Guinness Book visited Pedro Moncayo and registered the achievement. Within a week they will decide whether Ecuadorians managed to set a record.
