The director and artistic director of the Kharkiv Theater on the Beetles, Olga Ternovaya, released Shakespeare's Twelfth Night on the big stage of the Nikolayev Academic Art Russian Drama Theater.

The premiere screenings of the performance were timed to coincide with the International Theater Day, they took place on March 29 and 30, and the premiere cycle was completed on April 5, the press service of the Kharkov Theater reported..

The production is made in the genre of romantic comedy with elements of the reception "theater in the theater" and conveys the atmosphere of a merry holiday, which was characterized by masquerade, improvisation, jokes.

"The play was staged in two months, and during this time two full-fledged teams. Moreover, these compounds are not fixed, and now and then they change. And since we from the very beginning agreed that every actor has the opportunity to interpret his own image in his own way, now, mixing, the performers get an additional opportunity to contribute their improvisation to the overall game and get a completely new result. This will allow the performance to remain alive and grow with time. And to the viewer, I hope it will be interesting to watch our "Twelfth Night" more than once, because it will always be something unexpected, new, "says the director.

The performance is put in such a way that it can adapt to almost any area and even be played outdoors.
