The 100th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Lysenko was celebrated in the Kharkiv region

The two-day all-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference brought together 80 representatives of the music and pedagogical community from 22 cities in 9 regions of Ukraine.

As noted by the head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of KhOGA Oleg Yatsyna, the main goal of the conference "Creative and Pedagogical Activity of the N. Lysenko: the acquisition of contemporary performing arts of Ukraine "- to honor the memory of the well-known in Ukraine coryphaeus and methodologist of domro art, talented performer, conductor, professor, candidate of art history, whose fruitful activity was held in Kharkiv and Kiev Conservatory.

"The iconic figure of Nikolai Lysenko, the founder of professional performance on folk instruments, with his wide range of musical preferences - today, like many years ago, continues to unite around himself Ukrainian artists," said Oleg Yatsyna. - We Ukrainians need to unite and develop their cultural potential more than ever. Every year the Kharkiv region acquires more and more weight in the artistic space, is one of the most powerful cultural centers of Ukraine. Thanks to everyone who joined this event, and I want each of you to enrich your knowledge and experience ".

For two days of the conference a number of events were held, among which were reports of leading specialists of art schools and universities, round tables, discussions, master classes, presentation of educational and methodological literature and so on.. Also there were musical works. In total, more than 150 musicians of different ages, from 6-year-olds to students of art colleges and well-known professional performers in Ukraine and abroad, appeared on the stage of the Kharkov Musical College, where the event took place..



Organizers of a large-scale cultural event will continue to work on the implementation of numerous proposals and initiatives expressed by its participants, including a marathon of creative events dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Ukrainian four-stringed domra, the foundation of the periodical specialized edition "String folk instruments of Ukraine", the preparation and publication of methodological collections with treatments various works and their transposition for folk instruments, made by teachers of art schools of Ukraine.
