In Kharkov began shooting a historical thriller with the participation of Hollywood actors

As reported by Vgorode, the film entitled "Gareth Jones" is a joint project of Poland, Ukraine and Great Britain.

The main roles involved well-known Hollywood actors Vanessa Kirby, James Norton, Peter Sasgaart.

Gareth Jones already wrote that the Holodomor was artificial. "No Bread," "Hungry", "Millions die" - the headlines of his articles were unexpected and loud for 1933.

Under the scenario in 1933, reporter Gareth Jones met in Moscow with journalist Ada Brooks.

"Ada opens his eyes to the" Soviet utopia, "which has nothing to do with reality. And Gareth, despite the deadly threats, begins his investigation. Hiding from the special services of the USSR, step by step he reveals the truth about the tragedy of the Ukrainian people: the Holodomor, severe censorship, conspiracy and mass repressions.

It is his exposures that will later become the basis for the novel "Farmer's Animal" by George Orwell, "says the description for the film.

Some of the scenes that take place in Moscow are filmed in Kharkov.

Among the Ukrainian actors in the project are Yakov Tkachenko, Oleg Drach, Vladimir Fedoruk, Anna Shaydyuk, Anastasia Chalaya, Alina Kovalskaya.

As the press service of the police reported, in connection with the shooting in the city center traffic is blocked.
