Young Moscow playwright, poet and actor Konstantin Potapov will show Yekaterinburg's solo performance "Talking About Another".
A white man, tormented by internal contradictions, enters the elevator and gets stuck between floors. Trying to get out, the hero splits into two characters. Liberal and patriot. Conservative and innovator. Traditionalist and hipster. Characters argue within one person about the most disturbing issues. Feminism and patriarchy. Short skirts and rape. A special way and how to celebrate the 9th of May. Loving and loving are not so. The main breakdown of society is inside the hero. Each new topic causes the elevator to fall to the floor downwards. Trying to convince each other, the characters resort to a variety of genres. Stendap-monologue and monologue-preaching. High-pitched storytelling and hard rap battles. Playing in other personalities and theater in the theater.
The characters need to agree, otherwise the doors will not open. Characters can not agree.
