Martin Brest, Konstantin Chabala and Yuri Rudenko presented in Kharkov books about real and fictional events of the anti-terrorist operation in Donbass. All the authors themselves were mobilized in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and carried out service in hot spots, so that they know about the war not by hearsay.

A fighter of the 72nd motorized brigade with call sign Martin Brest became a famous blogger while still in service. Popularity brought him posts in Facebook about life on the front line. They formed the basis of the book "Infantry", published last year by the publishing house "DIPA".

"More than 100 books are written about the ATU, about 30 of them were written by soldiers from various types of troops - paratroopers, marines and others. But there are such people in the army who have not been taken anywhere - and they ended up serving in the infantry. Here I am from these, "- said Martin Brest, who is quoted 2day. kh. ua.

His co-worker Konstantin Chabala brought to Kharkov the book "Vovche". This - fiction, although based on the narrative of real events.

"The book is not so much about the war as about the characters in the war. Characters and scene of action are fictitious. This is the usual life of a platoon stronghold about people with different characters and different destinies, who are forced to live together, "- said the writer.

The book of the anti-aircraft gunner and volunteer Yuri Rudenko "Two Seas Mental" describes the real events in the Donbass in 2014, in which the author himself participated.

"At some point, I was not given much information about what was happening in the war. The reports were not particularly interesting to read. I wanted to tell you about how it was, at the cost of any losses, "Yuri said about why he wrote the book.

Company military at the presentation was a children's writer Vladimir Nikitenko with a book "210 good deeds". To listen to the writers came about 200 people, all comers did not have enough room in the hall.
