Russia not only conducts economic plunder of the peninsula, but also cultural. Moscow is probably well aware of those treasures and historical monuments that are on the peninsula, many of them have the status of non-recoverable, and their loss can be irretrievable.

The Foreign Ministry is very concerned about the holding of the so-called "restoration" of the Bakhchisaray Palace, which was included in the preliminary list for inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2003.

"This is an attack on the unique multiculturalism on the Crimean peninsula," says the chairman of the National Commission, Sergei Kislitsa, the deputy minister of culture of Ukraine, Tamara Mazur.

As reported in "URA-Inform", the Russian Federation does not intend to join the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
