"Family members are overwhelmed by this news and asked to leave them alone at this difficult time," says a spokesman for O'Riordan.



The Cranberries is an Irish rock band formed in 1989 and made world famous in the 1990s. Popularity to the band came after the creation of the song "Linger" in 1993. In 1994, one of the most famous songs of Cranberries "Zombie", in 1996 - "Free to Decide".
