It is traditionally held in the middle of December. The race is attended by all comers. As reported by The International News, thus in the Spanish capital every year celebrate the beginning of Christmas holidays. Residents and guests of the city dress up in costumes of Santa Claus, contribute a small amount for participation, and then take part in the race.
