Studio 20th Century Fox decided to dismiss the director of the film about Freddie Mercury "Bohemian Rhapsody". As Variety writes, Bryan Singer, who earlier removed the pictures "Suspicious faces", "X-Men" and "The Return of Superman", has not appeared on the set for several days already, and this is not his first disappearance.

Another December 1, the creators of the picture said that they are suspending the shooting of "Bohemian Rhapsody" because of the "unexpected absence" of the director, notes birdinflight. It was assumed that after a holiday break on the occasion of Thanksgiving, Singer will return to the shooting, but he never showed up. Three days later, the leadership of 20th Century Fox decided that work on the project would continue without him.

It is reported that Singer was not only often absent on the set, but also clashed with actors who complained about his unprofessionalism.

The director's work in his absence had to be performed by Newton's operator Thomas Siegel. Perhaps, it is he who will be entrusted with the further shooting of "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Brian Singer himself explained his last disappearance by family circumstances: "I turned to Fox with a request to give me a break so that I returned to the US and decided on issues related to the health of one of my parents. I sincerely wanted to finish the project about Freddie Mercury and Queen, but I was deprived of this opportunity. This is not my decision ".
