This tragedy was reported by the Odessa branch of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine, it is noted that recently the director was seriously ill.

The famous director's works of Vadim Kostromenko were the films "Quartet Guarneri" (1978) and "The Secret Fairway" (1986). He was also the author of the books "In the frame and behind the scenes", "Essays on the history of the Odessa film studio".

Master also compiled a catalog of Odessa films, from silent films to the 21st century.

As previously reported in "URA-Inform," actor Sergei Kudryavtsev, known for the series "Slaughter Force" and "Mentovskie Voiny", died in St. Petersburg at the age of 56 years. It is noted that the cause of death was a serious illness, with which the artist has struggled for a long time, details are not disclosed. The farewell ceremony for the actor will take place at the Lensovet Theater, to which he served.
