But it is notable for it is not an entertaining story, not a debut in this theater directed by Harold Strelkov and not by beautiful scale scenery. The main highlight of the production is that in her on the stage of the legendary theater for the first time for a third of the century his leading actresses - Alina Pokrovskaya, Olga Bogdanova and Larisa Golubkina. The plot of the play is simple and ordinary as our life: the cheerful and cheerful wedding organizer Alla Molodetsky (Olga Bogdanova), in the midst of one of the celebrations, "threw" the son of Rom, who is both "magician, and Urgant, and the horse in one person". A holiday, and with it the whole business of an entrepreneur threatens to collapse overnight. But the plot is not at all about this, the son just grew up and wants to build his life, and with this an enterprising mother, and with her and her no less active girlfriends Rosa and Regina, she is the sister of the main character (Larisa Golubkina and Alina Pokrovskaya respectively), no way do not want to accept. And further in the play, truly Shakespearean passions are played out: besides the conflict of generations, Roma's love with Anya is a representative of the enemy clan of officials, and for years, Alla's connection with the married lover, corruption of the power of Tatyana, and the problem of the little man. And all these conflicts, each of which could become a story of an independent production, are generously flavored with today's problems and tendencies - hipsters, bureaucracy, ecology, gadgets, corruption, the bustle of a big city. The older generation, as always, regrets what can not be returned (pies with neighbors, when "all one family", walking in yards, when "all children are common", life without gadgets, when "everything is real"), young - The fact that he does not understand and does not accept the world around him. Alle seems that the son and his hipster friends are living a life, "shaking with paper beards". Roma is passive, he swims with the current, it is easier for him to obey - his mother, the authoritarian aunt of his beloved Ani, the economic situation. He refuses both from love and from his own coffee shop for the sake of the already established mother's business. Just because it's hard to swim against the current, it's easier to submit. And maybe this is the main idea of ??the play, and not that life sends Alla a simple female happiness when she was already desperate to meet him.

Despite the fact that human destinies are so hung and twisted in this long (four-hour) production, each character is written very clearly and whole. Throughout the 20th century, significant events for our country were reflected in the lives of ordinary people and became part of the spectacle, but at the same time this is a truly modern story - about Moscow in 2017, as they are characterized by its directors. And this is the case when it's hard not to agree with them.
