Art historians in France found a sensational figure - a portrait of a naked woman painted in charcoal, whose face has a striking resemblance to the legendary "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo da Vinci.

It is assumed that this picture was drawn by Leonardo Da Vinci and his pupil, writes BBC.

The painting bears the name "Monna Vanna", consonant with "Mona Lisa". Both depicted women have a striking portrait likeness, the experts also found similarity in the visual technique: the identical manner of the image of the face and hands in these two portraits.

Experts stressed that "bare Jacond" - not entirely the creation of da Vinci. He painted his face and hands, the portrait was finished by his pupil. This is understood by the fact that part of the work is done with the left hand - it's drawn by da Vinci, and part by the right - by another master.

It is assumed that this could be a preparation for the creation of the Mona Lisa.

Hatching at the top of the sketch, near the head, was made right-handed, therefore, before making a final conclusion about the origin of the picture, art critics intend to conduct additional tests that complicate the fragility of the sketch - scientists fear that it may fall apart at any moment.

Since 1862, this painting was in the Museum of Conde near Paris in Shantii. But she was not subjected to comparative examinations, since she was considered the work of another artist.
