Every time the news about the Russian tour of Gus Gus evokes an effect similar to the Icelandic volcano. The new eruption - November 10 in the Teleclub: the magnificent Icelanders will again share with us a unique energy, in which you want to swim like in the sea. Gus Gus has existed for more than twenty years. Interestingly, the name of the group is associated with the film directed by Fassbinder "Fear eats the soul" - according to the plot, a woman prepares a lover couscous, and in her pronunciation it sounds like "gus-gus". For the first time, a large Icelandic tusovka came from a movie loudly declared itself a Polydistortion album in 1997. Then the traditions of cult indie label 4AD were first enriched with trip-hop and techno. The debut became a sensation and turned the band into the second, after Bjork, the Icelandic superproject.

Ten albums in twenty years - a beautiful figure in the discography of the project. It is expected that the musicians will please us with new tracks from the album of 2017 Lies are more flexible, the release of which everyone is looking forward with great impatience. So far only the first single Featherlight has appeared, breathing new strength into the amazing stability and loyalty of fans supporting the team for two decades. We hope that with the release of the album Gus Gus will update their records, but we will rejoice as well to the good old classics - "Over", "Deep Inside", "Changes Come" and "Arabian Horse".

Musicians are often asked if they are bored in the nineties, when it all began - it is generally accepted that creative people nourish themselves with emotions of nostalgia. "To say the truth, no. No sadness and anguish. In the process of creativity, we have always been far from the hangout, writing, you might say, "music for introverts".

Of course, before us echoes of the electronic music of the madness that is happening in the world, sometimes even touched us, as they say, "on the tangent". What to say - the nineties were a special time. But the modern period also suits us well, so there is no reason to tie it up in sorrowful thoughts about the past ".

But we all have one more compelling reason to come to the Teleclub - on November 10 we meet the gorgeous Icelanders Gus Gus with the new album Lies are more flexible!.
