The hackers responsible for the last leaks of the "Games of Thrones" series, contacted the Mashable edition and told about their plans. They said that they are preparing to publish 7 episode 7 of the season of the series, and also sent journalists passwords from HBO account in social networks. The publication came an archive of burglars, who presented themselves as a group of "Mr. Smith". They invested in it logins and passwords from the accounts of the TV channel in social networks. As evidence, the attackers wrote "HB-Old is Dying" on the HBO page in the Giphy service. Employees of Mashable stated that for legal reasons they could not verify the authenticity of the data, but noted that this was not the first time that a hacker group had provided them with stolen data. In an e-mail, crackers noted that they have access to other HBO platforms. The group of "Mr. Smith" told the publication that he will soon publish the last episode of Season 7 "Games of Thrones". In HBO, Mashable responded that they do not intend to comment on the situation every time a new leak occurs.

"Hackers can publish pieces of stolen information to attract media attention. This is a game in which we are not going to participate, "the representatives of the TV channel explained.. The "Mr. Smith" group took responsibility for the last leakage of the HBO channel: the hacker group stole 1.5 terabytes of data and demanded $ 6 million in redemption. Since the end of July, episodes of "The Game of Thrones" have twice hit the net, and once criminals hacked the social network of the channel.
