August 23 at the Freedom Square in Kharkov on the occasion of the City Day will be a big celebratory concert, the press service of the city council.

"For the first time in a few years, we will celebrate the City Day and hold a big concert. We invited foreign delegations, guests from other cities of Ukraine. I very much want this event to be remembered, and everyone had a great mood, "- said First Deputy Mayor Igor Terekhov.

The concert will be attended by the groups "Mushrooms", the duet "Potap and Nastya", pop bands "Dzidzio", Irina Bilyk and Natalia Mogilevskaya. Finish fire show.

In addition, in the park "Strelka" from August 23 to August 27 there will be a festival of food, where traditional dishes of Italian, Mexican, French and Ukrainian cuisines will be presented.

During the festival, Kharkov bands will perform on a special stage, and on August 24 there will be a concert dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine.

Terekhov appealed to law enforcement agencies with a request to increase the number of patrols on the streets of Kharkiv for the City Day and Independence Day. He also said that in these days in the city will be on duty ambulance and fire brigade.

Since 2014, concerts on the pl. Freedom on the occasion of the City Day in Kharkov was not held.
