In the era of the Vikings at the festival "The Battle of a thousand swords. Ragnarok "is worth a dip. It will be held July 15 in the Museum-Reserve Kolomenskoye.

The immersion festival is a new format of interaction with history and a complete reload from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. There is no place for the customary schedule, because in the Middle Ages there was no clock. Visitors will find themselves in an authentic natural setting amidst more than two thousand inhabitants of that grim epoch.

There it will be necessary to abandon the traditional timetable. Guests immediately plunge into the daily life of the early Middle Ages. Like the modern one, it is diverse, spontaneous and much broader than any artificial programs.

Within the framework of the festival a new direction opens - historical tourism. The program of deep immersion will transfer townspeople to the Viking age. The participants of the program dress in an authentic costume and for two days for them a whole world will open where they will decide what to do - become apprentices for a carpenter, hire rowers on a boat, learn to work with a sword. Or maybe some enterprising party will win the heart of the princess, perform on the Viking tang, or be able to outwit the Byzantine nobles? Bold and determined open all the ways.

The atmosphere of the festival will be complemented by the performance of world-famous Norwegian skalds - dark-folk group Wardruna.

She uses archaic instruments, their songs in the Old Norse language capture the souls of lovers of northern mysticism around the world.

"The battle of a thousand swords. Ragnarok "is a pilot project: for the first time in Russia the festival of historical reconstruction and the performance of world-class stars. His main plot is the confrontation between the prince of Rusich and the king of Vikings. It will be decided in the biggest battle in the history of Russian reconstruction.
