The director of the new "Batman" Matt Reeves confirmed that Ben Affleck will play a major role. This is reported by Screen Rant.

Initially, it was assumed that Affleck would appear in the new film as a director and actor. Then he decided to remain in Batman only as the main actor, after which the production chair was occupied by Reeves (Planet of the Apes: War).

In the media there were suggestions that Affleck wanted to refuse to work on the picture at all, but now Reeves said that the actor will still take part in the project.

Affleck played Batman in the tape "Batman vs. Superman: At the dawn of justice" (2016), as well as in the film "League of Justice", which will be released in 2017.

It became known that Affleck is negotiating to participate in the sequel to the film "Reckoning", reports Collider. The first picture told of a mathematical genius-autist, who earns a job as an auditor for dangerous criminal groups.
