The holiday in Bogodukhov district near Kharkov gathered 58 folk groups, 60 works of craftsmen. During the working trip to Bogodukhov district, the guest of the festival was the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Yulia Svetlichnaya. On Bogodukhovshchina, she got acquainted with the progress and results of construction work at the sites of education and the social sphere, the press service of HOGV. Also, the head of the regional state administration held a working meeting with the leaders and activists of the district, during which they considered topical issues of the development of the Bogodukhov region infrastructure and the implementation of priority projects. At the end of the trip, Yulia Svetlichnaya visited the territory of the monument of landscape and public art of national importance "Sharovsky", where the traditional festival of masters of folk art took place. "I am very pleased to greet everyone at this festival, where everyone can enjoy the creativity of folk groups and artists," the head of the region addressed the participants and guests of the holiday. - The works of masters of not only the Kharkov region, but also from other parts of Ukraine. The festival was founded last year. And it's wonderful that such an event takes place at one of the beautiful sites of the region - in the pearl of Slobozhanshchina, in the Sharovsky Castle. And it is very good that due to the combined efforts of the authorities and civil activists of such events in the Kharkiv region, more and more ". Head HOGA wished good mood to the participants and guests of the festival, and then walked through the festive territory, having seen the presentation of the masters of traditional and modern crafts, as well as master classes and exhibition-fair. At the exhibition were presented works of more than 60 masters - from different areas of the Kharkov region, as well as from Poltava and Transcarpathia.

As organizers of the festival noted, the festival's goal is to show the beauty of Ukrainian art, songs and crafts, and most importantly - to preserve the pearl of Slobozhanshchina - the Sharovsky Castle. It is expected that more than 5000 guests will visit the holiday. The festival in Sharovka will be held every year - every third Saturday of June.
