It is located on Narodnaya Square near the building of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration and decorated the square with its unusual flowers.

Lyriodendron tulip, or as it is also called a tulip tree, is the closest relative of a magnolia.

In Uzhgorod, they can be found more than a dozen species. And if in general in Ukraine such trees grow only in botanical gardens, then in Uzhgorod the lyric dendron tulip grows right in the central city park, and everyone has access to it.

In this case, according to local residents, this year the trees blossomed for a few weeks later than in 2016 due to the weather..

Now the Uzhgorod tulip tree, which has already overtaken the neighboring four-story buildings, is half covered with flowers, and half with buds.

Recall, the birthplace of the tulip tree is North America. In Ukraine there are several such plants. In addition to Uzhhorod, a tulip tree can be found in the Lviv region, the Carpathian region and the botanical gardens of Kiev.

As reported URA-Inform, in April on Uzhhorodskaya Street in Mukacheve, Transcarpathian region, the unique alchema cherry alley. At the same time, the length of the flowering avenue is 1371 meters.
