On Victory Day the Museum of Military Equipment of UMMC was visited by a record 19183 people. For comparison, last year this figure was about 15 thousand guests, and in 2015 about 13 thousand visitors.

According to the director of the museum of military equipment UMMC Alexander Emelyanov, his role in the fact that the museum of military equipment in Verkhnyaya Pyshma was visited by such a significant number of guests, of course played a gift that was presented by the weather: it was warm and clear. We see the increased attention to the exposition on Victory Day every year, but we have the same number of visitors in one day for the first time, this indicator exceeds by more than 2 thousand people the average monthly figure.

"Peak load is a kind of test for all the infrastructure of the museum complex. We are happy to have coped with this task. Special thanks to our builders who, on the eve of the holidays, opened a parking lot for the guests' private vehicles, it was very much in demand. It is also worth noting that the ideology of the "accessible environment", which was originally designed during the construction of the museum complex, also justified itself. We had a lot of guests with small children with strollers, so ramps, wide aisles, a spacious elevator were just right, "- said the director of the museum of military equipment UMMC Alexander Emelyanov.

Note that in 2016 the Museum of military equipment UMMC visited a record 202 thousand people. This is 30 thousand more guests than in 2015. For comparison, in 2010 the Museum of military equipment in Verkhnyaya Pyshma was visited by 53 thousand people, in 2011 - 68 thousand, in 2012 - 92 thousand, and in 2013 - 140 thousand, and in 2014 there are already 150 thousand people.

At present, the Museum of Military Equipment UMMC is rightly considered one of the largest Russian exhibition venues of the military-technical profile, along with the museums of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Togliatti and Saratov.

Over 10 years, the museum's collection has collected more than 250 pieces of military equipment, unique collections of Russian awards, military regalia, mass-scale models of cold and firearms, as well as uniforms, equipment, insignia of the Russian armed forces. In November 2015 the museum was commemorated by the Russian Military Historical Society "The Best Museum of Military History", and in October 2016 became the winner of the Government of the Russian Federation prize in the field of tourism.
