Clint Eastwood will act as the director of the film "15:17 on Paris", which will tell about the terrorist attack that occurred in August 2015 on the Amsterdam-Paris train, reports The Wrap..

The film will be based on the book "15:17 on Paris: A True Story of a Terrorist, Train and Three American Heroes," written by eyewitnesses of what happened. The screenwriter will be Dorothy Bleskal, known for working on the films "Logan", "Miracle on the Hudson" and "The Law of the Night".



August 21, 2015 Moroccan Ayub al-Qazzani attacked the passengers of the train, which followed from Amsterdam to Paris. The attacker was neutralized in a few minutes by the passengers themselves. As a result of the attack, three people were injured. Among the wounded - the French actor Jean-South Anglad, who is known for his roles in the films of Luc Besson "Nikita" and "Leon", as well as in the series "The Sopranos".

Kazzani was armed with a Kalashnikov rifle, an automatic pistol with several loaded magazines and a cutter for opening boxes.
