From 14 to 18 June, the festival Porto Franko will be held in Ivano-Frankivsk. How to admit ZN. UA organizers, at this time the city will turn into a "port of art" and will become the cultural capital of Ukraine.

Porto Franko is waiting for foreign theater guests (while the program is being specified), but now the organizers told that in the stage of successful completion of negotiations with the cult Lithuanian theater Meno Fortas, which is directed by the world-famous director Eimuntas Nyakrosius.

Participants and guests of the festival will see one of the latest productions of the brilliant director - "The Master of Hunger". This performance was first born as an etude for one of the international festivals. Subsequently, the master's intention acquired stage significance and his unique stage vocabulary. The project is inspired by one of the last works of Franz Kafka about a man who exhausts himself with hunger and for which this process is something related to the process of "theatrical": to the delight of the crowd.

The main male role in the play is played by a woman - Lithuanian actress Victoria Kuodite. Its director chose among others, perhaps seeing in this choice a special meaning. "In Lithuania, there was not a single male actor who played this story the way I would have liked it. Victoria Kuodite plays a man whose outer shell is so exhausted that one can see how his heart beats, "the director said in an interview.
