The leader of the group “Boombox” Andrey Khlyvnyuk publicly responded to the accusations of the sound producer and co-author of the album “The Secret Code: Rubikon” Oleg Adzhikaev. The conflict erupted over copyright issues and royalty payments for songs from the album, released back in 2019. Adzhikaev stated that he did not receive proper financial reporting and payments for his participation in the creation of the tracks.
“Well, to remain silent, I see, will mean agreeing with this lie, so we have what we have. The “Mister”, who wants so-called justice, received funds for his work and received royalties within the framework of the law, as a co-author of the music in the said work. It turned out to be not enough, so now he will collect his share on his own. It’s good that fees and payments can be easily checked, because they became a non-cash payment method a long time ago. But casting a shadow on the good name of the group and calling me a fraudster is simply ridiculous.
I wish you good health,” he wrote.
Please note that only 4 songs from the first part of the album are currently available on streaming services, in particular Spotify.. The remaining tracks, including the duet with Tina Karol “Bezodnya”, are currently unavailable for listening.
Earlier, Adzhikaev threatened to sue and publish correspondence and documents that allegedly confirm copyright infringement and financial fraud on the part of Khlyvnyuk.
